Opera Shots Street Party is our annual casual pop-up concert on 2nd Avenue North, in front of The Collins Bar. Designed to break down the stereotypes of opera this Opera Shots Street Party feature members of the Opera Birmingham Chorus and surprise guest artists presenting an open-mic-style concert of the greatest hits of opera and musical theatre. No reservations needed — Donations are appreciated.

FEATURED MUSIC INCLUDES FAVORITES FROM: Pirate of Penzance, The Light in the Piazza, and Sweet Charity; along with classical pieces from Bach, Donizetti, and Johan Strauss II.

This is an outdoor concert, so dress accordingly. Lawn chairs and picnic blankets are welcome—food and beverage are available for purchase from The Collins Bar. Families are welcome!
